ADVENTURES OF ALEXA (BOOK 2): SCANDAL OF THE FORBIDDEN PICTURE BANNED IN 11 COUNTRIES

I stand before you today, heart in hand, a proud and profoundly honored writer of smut whose efforts have finally received the recognition they deserved.

A certain Bond-villain-looking man’s policies at Amazon KDP have removed my book “Adventures of Alexa (Book 2): Scandal of the Forbidden Picture” from their platform in 11 countries.

Which, technically, makes me an almost worldwide banned author. Boom, baby! That’s an instant hall of fame backstage pass if ever there was one!

M. R. Stibbons banned in 11 countries... my stuff is that dirty, yes. It’s now official.

After several humorously futile attempts at communicating with Amazon’s customer support in the hopes of resolving the issue, I only got the same copy-pasted response again and again: "the content of your book violates our content policies". The nice Indian folk at CS never specified whether the "problem" was in the book’s content or the cover itself nor were they open to any discussion. 

To be honest, I’ve had warmer and far more friendly and helpful chats with AI chatbots.

But judging from the fact that my book “Adventures of Alexa (Book 1): Curse of the Horny Ruby” has not be removed, I would guess that what rubbed the Bond-villain-looking man the wrong way was the cover.

In other words, the “Scandal of the Forbidden Picture” did indeed contain a forbidden picture for the moral standards of someone who is OK with the idea that a person 18 years of age can pursue a career in porn, but God forbid they have a watered-down beer.

So, not to toot my own horn, but I’m also kind of a prophet. Like the Simpsons or something…

RE-ERECTION OF THE STIBBONS: RELAUNCH 2024

    Alexa is the first-born daughter of baron Alfred Van Remen of the Northlands. Noble by blood, snob by choice. Turning her back to a cushioned life of aristocratic luxury, she ran away from her ancestral fief to seek adventure, fortune and glory in the big city.

    Instead, all she found in Akkadia was a stinking metropolis full of perverts ogling her ass at every turn. But going back is out of the question for her. She’s too proud for that. Besides, she’d rather die than give her dad the satisfaction of admitting that he knew best about her future.

    Alexa hates being told what to do. And, at the same time, she loves it. Pathologically so. Of course, she’s reluctant to accept it. She considers herself a strong and independent knight-maiden of the North and can’t figure out why all her exes were shallow, abusive assholes who were only interested in using her like a jerk sock before dumping her.

    She is well aware that her half-brother and squire, Adalwin, has a huge crush on her. Sure, it would have been creepy if they weren’t nobles to begin with. You see, incest in the Twelve Dominions always has been one of the privileges of the aristocracy. As it stands, Alexa is comforted, if not outright flattered, by her squire’s interest; but gods forbid she ever lets him know that!

Nevertheless, due to some extraordinarily misguided career choice early on in his life, he is the only Ogre in the Twelve Dominions delusional enough to declare himself a rogue. And a master one at that.

    After his application to the Thieves’ Guild of Akkadia got rejected for the fourteenth time, Marlon decided to go into business for himself. As was to be expected, that turned out to be a clusterfuck of epic proportions.

    Speaking of fucks, when Marlon is not flexing his “shadow arts” (as he likes to call his clumsy attempts at stealth or pickpocketing) there’s only one thing he loves more: fucking girls in the ass.     Adalwin is the product of one of baron Van Remen's casual indiscretions with a buxom washing-maid. In other words, he's technically a bastard. Which makes him Alexa’s half-brother and we all know where this is going, right?

    In any case, he grew up serving as Alexa’s squire. And, for as long as he can remember, he has been in love with her. It’s an unusual sort of love, to be honest. Half rainbows and butterflies and half fevered fantasies of revenge-fucking her with her ass in the air while pressing down her face with his foot. Then again, the best kind of love always combines a little bit of both dreamy and dirty.

    A true romantic at heart, Adalwin followed his half-sister to Akkadia when she decided to play runaway brat and pursue an adventurer’s career.     Valla of Lyonnais is a paladin with a shitload of pompous titles no one cares about. She serves the goddess Flaegia, one of the better-known deities of fire in the Twelve Dominions. She has spent all of her life in dutiful worship and arduous physical training to fine-tune her petite body into an earthly image of Flaegia’s perfection.

    Valla is the proud owner of a sky-galleon, an airship able to traverse the heavens riding upon astromagnetic currents. Nevertheless, she chooses to spend most of her time in a remote hermitage, up in mountains. The world of men disgusts her. After all, she has never found one capable of satisfying her… umm… spiritually, of course.

    True to her vows, there is nothing she wouldn’t do to serve her goddess. Nothing at all. If the cause is holy, and the mission gods-sent, then she will unquestioningly submit to the will of Flaegia. She will get down on her knees, lift up her sky-blue eyes (presumably in prayer) and take right on the face every challenge the darkness of the world has to throw at her.

    Ok, that sounded weird… Look, all I’m saying is that she doesn’t do it because she likes it. She does it because it needs to be done, like a good paladin.
